[Dojo-interest] making TextBox readOnly

Is there  a way to make dijit.form.TextBox
readonly?

I tried the attr 'disabled'  but on Safari the grayed out text
is very hard to see.

I just would like it to be 'non editable' but easy to see
and a user should be able to copy the text from there into
a clipboard (if they want to)


is there such a option?
