[Dojo-interest] Dojo ContentPane javascript execution

I have a tab container, under which each tab shows an external html file
that has a dynamically created html table. I also have a button in that
external html file which when clicked, would alter some cells of the
table.

What I observe is that the table gets generated and rendered properly,
but when I click the button to update some cells, my update method
(within the external html file) does not execute. 

How can this be accomplished?
