[Dojo-interest] dojo.flash questions

Hey there all,
Just looking into Dojo and it is great! I love what is happening here with .storage and some other flash stuff.

I had some questions about the dojo.flash package: I know its really there to support dojo.storage, but is there any plan to take on the ability of swfobject so we can use dojo to embed flash movies? 

Also, I want to replace some of my getURL/External interface stuff with the DojoExternalInterface. in looking through the dojo.flash tree, I'm slightly confused about what to use. If I use the Flash8 files will that only work correctly if compiled for a flash 8 player or can I compile it for both a flash 6 and flash 8 player? Was wondering why the 2 DojoExternalInterface.as files couldn’t be combined into one that checks for the version of the player and does the right thing?
