I also forgot the issue of off-line reading. That said, let's see if the
Drupal idea can be made to work:
- I found a "diff" module on Drupal. I'd like to test it at some point.
Maybe that's a good solution to the diff problem.
- But I'm still concerned about (1) off-line reading and (2) printing.
There is a DocBook export, but only for Drupal 4.7, and Drupal 4.7 won't
be supported much longer. There is an export to some Drupal-specific XML
format. Maybe I/we can write an XSLT to turn that into DocBook.
This approach would limit us to very simple HTML. For example, we
shouldn't use <h2> or higher because that would be hard to convert to
It's an option worth exploring. It would make some people (like James)
happy - if it can work.
Btw: yes, I do like the idea of off-line reading, and print-friendly
output. I also think that it'd be cool if we could get a Dojo book
printed from Lulu.

> In brief, your goal is to get more contributions into the project.
> Correct? I fully agree with that goal. Just not with the conclusion.
