Not 100% certain what your question "does this happen" means :-\

Do you mean: Do Divs with overflow:hidden imprison (best word I could think
of) it's children in both IE and in FF? If that's the question, then yes,
it's the same in both.

This is going to require some work by one of the Dojo contributors. We'll
need a property which pops the child element out of it's parent and adds it
to the Body while dragging. That way we can have scrolling Divs with
children and drag them out and drop into other Divs.

Or did I totally miss your question? :-\
