I think you're responding to a question I put to Bill about why the
widget needs to be using code that isn't in compliance with the XHTML
specs.
As a side issue, if you need an OS style modal dialog, you could
always use OS Modal Dialog popups that the browsers all have, rather
than use the dojo widget.
