I'm all for focusing on actual use, but I think skinning **is**
important to people who would use dojo's widgets. IMO (and I'm not
speaking for the team, but we have discussed this) Zimbra would
consider using dojo's widgets if they were considered "production
quality". This means fast, stable, well documented. However, since
Zimbra is a skinnable application, if Dojo's widgets were not
skinnable, we couldn't use them. I don't think "skinnable" has to be
that hard -- we're really talking about CSS changes, so I don't think
we have to throw that out of the current system to make it viable.
